Pianos versus Keyboards

Pianos and keyboards are very much the same but different at the same time. Some similarities are they both have keys to go up and down the different types of scales, triads and play songs. They both have black and white keys as well.
Unlike keyboards, pianos have three peddles that will makes different pitches, while in comparison keyboards have one peddle at the most, the piano has 52 and the keyboard only has around 35. Also pianos have different ranges for volume unlike keyboards where you have to use the volume control.
Keyboards have buttons on the top to make different sounds like birds chirping or built in beats and sometimes even songs that you can practice by it showing you what keys your supposed to be on and then you press it and you get a score on how well you did, on the other hand pianos do not have any buttons on the top. Keyboards you can take with you because its pack able compared to pianos you keep in one place Most people use pianos for classical music unlike keyboards where there used for any type of music except for classical unless your practicing.
After comparing them I would say they are both great, it just depends on what you are doing (classical or not classical.) If you travel a lot like in a rock band a lot I would use a keyboard but if you just stay in one area (except for concerts where they supply the pianos) go with a piano.

I think key boards are better because the is a greater range of things you can do with them. Keyboards you can play them like a piano but you can also play as if you were using a different insterment though you are still using the exact same internment and notes.You could be a band all in one with a keyboard but you'll need tones of other interments to be a band with a piano.
i think that the key boared is better beucase if it was'nt why do you think they have lasted so from tommyboi$$$$!
i say key boards because piano's are old and to big
Both the keyboard and piano are good but pianos are better because keyboards do not have the same sound as the real piano and so that sometimes it is harder to play songs. Keyboards are better if you are looking to play different tones and sounds but not play acual songs in a band or lesson. I play on a keyboard when I practice but play on a piano for my lesson and I find it a lot harder to play songs because of the differnt tone that the keyboard has. Pianos and keyboards are the same in some ways but different in others.
I think both are excellent.
No way! i think in my opinion that the piano is way better than the keyboards because you can play way more notes on it and you can switcn the tones with the peddles. The keyboard may be easier to play and is more portable and yes it does play ALL music INCLUDING CLASSICAL. my gramma has a keyboard and i dont even play on it because its much funner to play the music thats already on it. But in other words... i prefer the piano because you can actually play on it. Next time you go to a concert look at the person who is playing the piano its not a keyboard is it?? point proven.
I think key boards is more better you could do more better things then a piano key boards.
This is like how people are making new technology that has more to it such are cell phones so people can use the devise for a variety of things.In conclution keboards are better.(see my other coment for the beginning of this answer)
