Music Players

Music players
By Shaun Collins 72

Gramophones, cd’s, records, mp3’s and ipods. What do they all have in common? They all play music. They all have different ways of playing music and music players have changed over time.
First, in 1901, they came out with the gramophone. The nick name is the Grammy. If you have ever seen the trophy for the Grammy awards, that is what it looks like. It is kind of like a record player.
Witch brings me to the
next music player, the record player. The record was invented in the mid 20th century. A record looks like a big, black cd.

Soon after, the tape player was invented. It is like a small version of the VCR, but does not play movies, it plays music.
Around 2000, cd’s were invented. It is a smaller version of the record. The walk men and mini disk are portable cd players with head phones, not speakers.
Just like the walk men, the mp3 and I pod have head phones as well.
Music players have
changed a lot. I wonder what they will invent next. I think they will come out with a smaller and more potable player.
Q. what do you think they will invent next?

I don't know what they will invent! personally I don't think they can invent anthing else because they have already come out with everything that most people can think of such as: The Iphone, PSP,and the new Ipod Nano. But don't worry if you can't think of any new things to invent that play music, Knowing the people at Sony, Mac all the other companies their scientists will always come up with something new. :):):):):):)

I think people will invent music players that are extremely thin and small and can hold millions of songs, and can search up songs not already on it and download them on to the music player. Already, since the gramophone, music players have become smaller, thinner and lighter. For each generation of music players, there has always been something improved in the next generation, like the iPod Nano. The original ones were very fragile, and would easily break (I had to return one once because it wasn't working, and didn't have some things like searching up a song you couldn't find on your iPod though you knew it was there. Then the next generation of the iPod Nano was less fragile and you could search up songs. Now, with so many improvements that has already happened to music players, music players that are extremely thin and small and can hold millions of songs, and can search up songs not already on it and download them on to the music player, could be one of the next generations of music players.
